Over the course of 7 months, 2 guest houses, a "poolhouse" and a "guesthouse", an outdoor kitchen and a swimming pool with adjacent surroundings and a terrace, were reconstructed. The task was to use local materials and to base it on the local style, while respecting the requirements and comfort of living in the 21st century.
The guest houses are mainly intended for accommodation of visiting family members and friends of the owner of the entire residence. The guesthouse has a bedroom with a biofireplace for the colder season, a separate bathroom. Behind the house is a paddock for horses. Visitors can enjoy the view of the swimming pool with a new terrace made of local "mares" stone from the second house, which is called the "poolhouse" due to its proximity to the pool. Inside the house there are two bedrooms with separate bathrooms, and there is also air conditioning.
The outdoor kitchen was completely reconstructed, including an outdoor grill and oven. The work surface is covered with ceramic tiles in a white-blue combination with local decorative elements. The outdoor kitchen also includes a stone sink and refrigerator.
The materials used are local, with an emphasis on simplicity and coziness. The floors are covered in terracotta tiles in various formats, the walls in the bathrooms are also covered in terracotta combined with marble mosaics or stone pebbles. The furniture was custom-made, or the original furniture was refurbished.
